Relocating to the Colorado or Denver area
When relocating to a new town, you may have an overwhelming amount of things on your mind: a different job, different schools, a different church, different daily routines, and of course, finding a new place for your family to live.
At Stapleton Mortgage & Realty, I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.
When relocating, you often don't have the luxury of looking at every home on the market. At best, you might be able to see 20 to 25, so pare down the list first thing with this advice:
Before coming into town, put your needs into one list. Then write the things you simply want in another. If a home doesn't even meet your needs, it's one less house to look at.
Have a set price range. This could be based on mortgage or a reasonable estimate of what you'll net from the sale of your current home.
Take into account drive time to work or other interests. Traffic around Denver could be different than what you're used to, so tell me how long a commute you're willing to undertake.
Before we meet in person, I could send you recommendations for listings we should see.
Or if you've done your own research already, let me know what you've found.
While virtual tours and photos are invaluable, there's nothing like touring homes in person. I can schedule any necessary appointments and map a route. We could tour up to 8 or 10 homes in a single day with the proper planning.
My objective is to see to it that by the time you leave town, you can be comfortable in the knowledge you're on the right track to finding the best home for your family. Call me today at 303.399.2154 to start your home search.
